Macy’s Flower Show 2009 “Dream in Color” Sunday, April 5 – Sunday, April 19 This is the last day to bask in the floral glory of the Macy’s Herald Square Flower show. Complimentary guided tours are available to give you the inside scoop on the making of the show. Upon entrance to the world famous department store, you are greeted with the intermingling fragrance of hyacinths and roses and thousands of beautiful blooms. What woman can’t appreciate the fusion of fashion and flowers? If all the men out there would take a cue from Macy’s and “Dream in Color,” we’d enjoy every day gifts of accessories adorned in azaleas and other gorgeous stems. Oversized pink flamingos made entirely out of flowers prance on beds of tulips and wheat grass thorough Macy’s first floor. Over the signage of each accessory vendor is an assortment of tropical flowers, including orchids and birds of paradise. Enjoy this floral paradise where Coach and ColeHaan are decorated with cherry blossoms and Lancome and other vendors in the Beauty Arcade are enveloped in natural beauty.
