One of the fabulous followers of “The Vanity Addiction,” Marilyn Moore of Praying Families reached out to me regarding support in bringing joy to the heart and a fresh start to the young ladies of Independence Inn #2 in 2013! Be a friend and please donate body care and fragrance products to Brooklyn based young women ages 16-21 residing in SCO Family of Services’ sanctuary for the homeless. The young ladies reside in a cooperative environment where they are provided educational services, vocational training and job placement. With supportive counseling, the young adults learn basic life skills including cooking and money management. Independence Inn #2 assists the residents in finding permanent housing and prepares them for independent living. Any cosmetic gift would be appreciated (ex. Body creams, powder, lip gloss, perfume, bath gel etc.)
